Jet Towel™ Technology
Wherever used, the Mitsubishi Electric Jet Towel™ has had a positive impact, drying hands faster and more hygienically since 1993. It’s the original high-speed hand dryer to use dual-jets of air to dry wet hands.
This drying method was proven to be dramatically faster than conventional hot air hand dryers, and works by completely removing water from the palm and back of the hands in as little as 8 to 10 seconds using dual streams of 382 kmph ‘jet blasts’ of air.
All the user needs to do is insert their wet hands in the Jet Towel™ then slowly pull them out. Hands will be completely dry in just 8 to 10 seconds, with no hand rubbing or turning required.

Background
The first Jet Towel™ was designed in 1992 and introduced in Japan in 1993. It worked by producing two jet streams of air to force water off the hands, rather like a squeegee pushing the water off a window as it is pulled across the pane.
Jet Towel™ has benefited from 20 years of development and has a proven history of success through a large worldwide installed base. Throughout this time, Mitsubishi has refined the design of the Jet Towel™ to optimize speed, energy efficiency and comfort.
This pursuit of perfection is embodied in the latest 8th Generation model.
